FITIZENS GATHER — COMMUNITY CONVERSATION

The Power of Belonging: Raising Emotionally Resilient Kids Through Community

We’re gathering for a meaningful conversation around something at the core of everything we’re building… belonging.

In partnership with the Ross School Speaker Series, this thoughtful panel brings together voices rooted in community, movement, and mindful living to explore how we create environments where both children—and we as adults—can truly thrive.

This conversation is centered on raising emotionally resilient children, but it begins with us. When we feel grounded, supported, and connected, we shape the energy of the spaces our children grow within.

Together, we’ll explore how emotional awareness, movement, and community play a role in building confidence, resilience, and deeper connection—for ourselves and the next generation.

Panel Includes:

Radha Agrawal — community builder & author of Belong

HaChi Yu — movement, mindfulness & ancient wisdom

Valeria Talve — founder of The FITIZENS

– Moderated by Emily Tisch Sussman

After the conversation, we’ll stay a little longer—connecting, reflecting, and continuing the dialogue together over light bites.

This is more than a talk. It’s a moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect to what really matters—community, presence, and the way we show up for ourselves and each other.
